Cancellation & Refund Policy

Applies to transactions on the GoldWalt mobile application processed primarily through Cashfree and related partners.

1. General Principles

  • Once digital gold or silver is credited, purchases are generally non-refundable except proven duplicate or erroneous charges.
  • Failed or abandoned payments do not credit metal; reversals follow bank/gateway timelines (typically 5–7 business days).
  • Sell orders are irreversible once executed; payouts go only to your verified beneficiary.
  • Refunds may be delayed during AML, KYC, or fraud review.

2. Buy Transactions

  • Payment failed: no metal credited; no charge or automatic reversal.
  • Price lock expired: transaction cancelled; start again at new price.
  • Payment successful but metal not credited due to error: we credit metal or refund after investigation.
  • Payment successful and metal credited: no refund except duplicate payment proved with evidence.

3. Sell & Payout

  • Executed sells cannot be reversed.
  • Failed payout (invalid account, name mismatch): we retry or request correction—funds are not sent to unrelated third parties.
  • Compliance holds may delay settlement until resolved.

4. SIP

  • Pause or cancel to stop future debits; past successful installments are not refunded.
  • Failed debit: no metal for that cycle; partner may retry.
  • Report duplicate debits to support within 7 days with transaction ID.

5. Physical Delivery

  • If delivery fee payment fails, the order is not placed.
  • Before dispatch: contact support@goldwalt.com immediately to request cancellation.
  • After dispatch: cancellations are not available; see Shipping Policy for transit issues.

6. Chargebacks

False or abusive chargebacks may result in account termination and legal action. Contact us first with order ID and payment proof.

7. Refund Timelines

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment instrument within 5–10 business days (bank-dependent).
