How to request deletion of your GoldWalt account and personal data

This page explains how account deletion works on the GoldWalt mobile application and how it relates to our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.

1. How to Request Deletion

  • In the app: Open GoldWalt → Settings → Delete Account → confirm the warning.
  • By email: Write to support@goldwalt.com from your registered email or with your registered mobile number for verification.

2. Grace Period (14 Days)

After you request deletion, your account is marked deleted and login access is revoked. You may recover the account within 14 days by logging in with OTP on the same mobile number. After the grace period, deletion becomes permanent via our automated process.

3. What Is Deleted or Deactivated

  • Active login sessions and auth tokens.
  • FCM push notification tokens associated with your account.
  • Active SIP mandates (cancelled as part of deletion processing).
  • Profile access and non-mandatory personal data not required by law.

4. What May Be Retained

We may retain certain records where required for legal, regulatory, tax, audit, AML, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution—including KYC verification records, transaction history, and payment references—typically for periods required under applicable law (often up to 7 years for financial records). Such data is restricted and used only for permitted purposes.

5. Mobile Number Re-use

After permanent deletion, the same mobile number may not be eligible to register a new account, based on compliance and account-integrity rules.
